Europe

In Europe, almost everything is the opposite of China, trade with Europe, importing goods from Europe and exporting to Europe is our specialty under sanctions. There were no traces of these countries during the embargo, but now, after China, they have become one of the main sellers of goods to Iran. By the end of July, imports from Germany, which is the sixth largest importer to our country, worth $ 863 million. Switzerland, which recently joined Iranian exporters, recorded $ 662 million worth of goods in its portfolio. France, which had left Iran and refused to cooperate, imported $ 456 million worth of goods to Iran in four months.

The EU now includes 28 independent countries: Austria, Spain, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy, Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Bulgaria, Portugal, Denmark, Romania, the Czech Republic, Sweden, France, Finland, Cyprus, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Lithuania, Malta, Hungary, the Netherlands, Greece and Croatia. Five countries, Iceland, Montenegro, Turkey, the Republic of Macedonia and Serbia, are also on the waiting list to join the union. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo are also on the EU's list of potential candidates.

The 8-month statistics of imports this year show that 5 European countries are among the 10 major exporters of goods to Iran, and in recent months, imports from the United States have increased. China, UAE, Republic of Korea, Turkey, Switzerland, India, Germany, Italy, France and the Netherlands are among the top 10 importers to Iran. The United States is also the 36th largest importer to Iran. Among the 27 European countries, Germany is the main hub of the economy and industry, followed by France, the Netherlands and other Schengen countries.
